Nov. 2003 - I accept Director of Music position with David L. Carrasco Job Corps Center in El Paso, TX.

Dec. 2003 - I am asked by Art Avila of Percussionschool.com to do a lesson plan for their website.

Dec. 2003 - I am ask to write drumkit score for a new jazz tune by Frank Cates, a commissioned writer for Kendor Music Publishing.

Jan. 2004 - Will be working up new deal for location for S2D drum camp.

Jan. 2004 - Just recieved artist endorsement from www.PercussionSchool.com.

Feb. 2004 - Article posted on "How to market yourself".

Feb. 2004 - New Jazz chart started - "Innocent Kids".

July 2004 - March through June have been real busy, mostly with Job Corps. Plans for expanding the music department are under way. Opening a wall to a room next door to the existing music room and ordering new music equipment. 

*  Frank Cates to post his published music on this website for sale. It will be in Finale format.

*  Jeff "Cherokee" Bunn, former bass player of the "Brides" and P-Funk is coming out with new material. I heard a sample in a phone conversation with Jeff and all I can say is it is must have for any listener. Jeff has put his heart and soul into this and you can tell right away. Big props to you, Jeff. I love you, man. Also, Jeff. Prayers to you and your son, Bobby. Bobby is going through eye surgery due to complications from diabetes. 

* Word is Fuego Latino is doing a show in 2005 with ... Tito Puente's Band. I'll post more details as they come in.

*  Alma Rocha gave me a lead on an indie group called "Smooth". They have a tune posted up on http://realestaterecords.com . Get a chance, check it out. 

October 2004 - New Talent Hits El Paso - Gabriel Alvarez-Avila, a young man with an incredibly powerful voice has entered the music scene. I will be working to produce his first recording and hope to have it released by Christmas.
